Natural Farming

Embracing Organic Farming with Devotion to Mother Earth

At ISKCON Hebri Farm, we are committed to practicing pure organic farming, rooted in deep respect for Mother Earth. Our experienced and spiritually grounded devotee farmers understand the natural rhythms of the soil and treat the land with utmost care and reverence. We cultivate a wide range of crops including paddy, vegetables, fruits, and flowers—completely free from chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Every step in our farming process is aligned with nature, ensuring that neither the earth nor the crops are harmed by synthetic inputs.

This year, as part of our green initiative, we planted 120 trees—60 of which are coconut trees, while the rest include a rich variety of fruit-bearing and spice trees such as guava, chikoo, rambutan, nutmeg, cocoa, and black pepper. Our nourishing organic fertilizer is lovingly prepared using cow dung from our Gaushala, mixed with dry leaves and other natural materials. For pest control, we rely on traditional, eco-friendly methods using cow urine and neem oil cakes. The result is healthy, flavorful food that not only nourishes the body but also uplifts the spirit, embodying our vision of sustainable and spiritually conscious living
